Me and Damian spent the weekend being completely lazy!
We sat around and played with toys and read books. We did a little shopping on Saturday.
Today while I was doing the dishes I put Damian in his swing, after about 5-10 min I looked around the corner to ckeck on him and this is what I found! Thank god for the straps! He is reaching and rolling for everything now.
So today my mom and I were looking at some old pictures and came accross this one of me when I was about 6 months old. It is amazing to see the similarities between Damian and I. This picture totally explains were his cheeks and head shape came from!
Damian is grabbing everything. I set him on the counter in his BUMBO chair while I clean my kitchen and do dishes. He grabs for anything within reach. It is taking some adjusting on my part. I really have to watch EVERYTHING that is within his reach. He has been getting a hold of things I never thought he would be able to get. He wiggles his way to everything.
Well Damian and I have been so busy. I have been workin full time so Damian has been spending lots of time with Grandma and Grandpa. He has also had had his first experience with a abysitter. She is great but it is still hard to send him! This past weekend we went to the Aquarium in Denver this past weekend as well so watch for the new pics!
Well Damian and I spent the afternoon decorating 2 out of our 7 pumpkins. Damian wasn't very into it but I had a lot of fun...lol It's pretty obvious whos is whos. Monkeys for my little monkey and polka dots for me! I refuse to carve a pumpkin until I have to. They are gross and sticky inside. So until Damian tells me he wants to carve a pumpkin, we will use alternatives :-) So far ribbon, pins and small decorations are working great. I think next we will be using some spray paint and a few other things. We have 5 more pumpkins to get creative with!
My life right now consists of myself and my 2 year old son Damian. He is the most B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L baby boy ever. He is my world. I would be abosolutely lost without him!
